Our client, one of Australia's leading 3PL distributors, is expanding their flexible chilled & frozen goods team and offering exceptional opportunities with industry-leading pay rates starting from $44 per hour, along with enticing afternoon and weekend penalty rates and a weekly performance-based incentive bonus.

About the Role:

As a Pick Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of stock within our distribution centre. This position is in a temperature-controlled warehouse, and you will be required to work in both Chiller and Freezer environments, with temperatures ranging from 2°C (Chilled) down to -25°C (Freezer).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing orders using state-of-the-art technology and equipment in a warehouse that includes multiple voice-pick rooms and a high-rise, multi-level conveyor pick system.
• Operating MHE and equipment, such as a new fleet of single and double tuggers to pick/load and dispatch, high-reach forklifts, and counterbalance forklifts.
• Conducting quality checks to maintain the highest standards of product integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborating with team members and management to achieve daily KPI targets and ensure the timely dispatch of goods.
• Adhering to strict safety protocols and promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements:

To succeed as a Pick Packer with us, you should meet the following criteria:

• Experience in picking/packing roles within a warehouse or distribution centre is preferred.
• Experience within a Cold Storage environment is preferred but not essential.
• Must be available for up to 5 shifts per week, with Mondays, Fridays, and Public Holiday availability.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 15kgs.
• Ability to perform at a high level with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area.
