We are seeking a Senior Advisor Employee Communication to partner with the business to conceptualise, initiate, implement, promote, and evaluate strategic communication programs and campaigns for our Communication & Engagement Department. This is a full-time, ongoing position based at our Doncaster headquarters. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster in line with our hybrid working model.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Employee Communication responsibilities of this position include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement strategic and integrated communication strategies and plans that engage the target audience underpinned by best practice engagement approaches
  • Oversee the end to end production of our key publications, including our staff magazine, annual report and clinical magazine
  • Create and execute innovative strategic communication projects and initiatives that meet customer and business needs using new technologies
  • Provide strategic communication advice to other business units across AV to ensure maximum impact of messaging that supports AV's strategic plan
  • Influence and build communication capability, facilitate peer involvement in Strategy & Engagement initiatives and services to build the collective capability of the Division through the delivery of authentic, impactful content across multiple channels

About you

To be considered for this position you will possess a degree in a relevant discipline (Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism) or relevant industry certification with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience. Other requirements include but not limited to:

  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic communication strategies, programs, and policies across a range of multi-disciplinary functions
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of best practice strategic employee communication with experience managing large-scale strategic communication projects
  • Sound communication, analytical and business writing skills, with strong writing skills and the ability to develop creative content for a range of channels
