First Steps Safe Steps is expanding and we're looking for a practical, friendly and reliable Baby Safety Installer to join our team. If you enjoy hands-on work, have basic tool skills and love helping families create safer homes, this could be the perfect role.

About the Role

You will travel across Greater Sydney visiting family homes to assess safety risks and install babyproofing products. Every day is different, and your work makes a real difference in reducing childhood injuries.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Conduct in-home safety consultations
  • Install gates, locks, anchors, window restraints, Perspex barriers & more
  • Educate parents on injury prevention and safe home setups
  • Work independently using a provided work van
  • Represent our brand with professionalism and care
What We're Looking For
  • Basic handyman/installation skills (measuring, drilling, use of tools)
  • Good communication + excellent customer service
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Police Check and Working With Children Check must be obtained before start date
  • Reliable, confident working solo, good problem solving
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg and safely use ladders
  • Permanent resident status required

Experience in maintenance, trades, carpentry, childcare safety or installations is ideal, but not essential—we provide training.
