About the opportunity:

Join our dynamic Information Services team at Bolton Clarke on a 12-month Maximum Term Contract, where you'll design and maintain web applications deeply integrated with our digital ecosystem. Collaborating with skilled developers, integration specialists, and business analysts, you'll deliver smart, scalable solutions that automate workflows and enhance frontline service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver innovative, reusable web solutions that meet business needs across projects and operations.
  • Design and implement integration solutions aligned with strategic goals and development standards.
  • Contribute to both new (greenfield) and existing product development initiatives.
  • Ensure maintainability through clear documentation and active knowledge sharing.
  • Support DevOps practices using the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Collaborate in agile teams, working closely with stakeholders and vendors to deliver connected solutions.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification highly regarded
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: Angular, HTML, CSS
  • Strong back-end development with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and IIS
  • Experience with Azure services, including Azure API Management
  • Integration expertise with REST/SOAP APIs and Web Services
  • Solid understanding of SQL (SQL Server & Azure SQL) and Entity Framework
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorisation, SSO, and Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and workflows (GitHub, Azure DevOps)
  • Applied experience with secure transmissions, digital certificates, and PKI
  • Service integration experience (Boomi, MuleSoft etc.) highly regarded
