About the Team & Project

Join a high-performing Customer Engagement Technology team delivering a major digital transformation initiative within one of Australia's largest financial services programs. The team owns and builds the Digital Banker Platform - a modern solution consolidating 15+ legacy systems into one unified, customer-facing platform.

About the Role

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus (around 70–80%) to join a team working on the next-generation Digital Banker platform. The ideal candidate will have experience across React, JavaScript, and Java, and enjoy solving complex technical problems within a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities


•Develop and maintain frontend applications using
React, JavaScript (ES6+), Redux, and

•Build and integrate backend APIs in
Java /
to support scalable, secure applications.


•Work closely with cross-functional squads to design and deliver high-quality digital solutions.


•Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and CI/CD workflows.


•Optimise performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the platform.


•Contribute to a culture of quality through testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For


•3–5 years' experience as a Full Stack or Frontend Engineer in enterprise-scale environments.


•Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.


•Working knowledge of Java for API and backend integration.


•Experience building performant, responsive, and accessible web applications.


•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.


•Exposure to cloud-based environments and Agile delivery practices.

Desirable


•Experience with test automation frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)


•Knowledge of AWS / GCP / Azure.


•Background in large-scale transformation programs

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
