Job summary:

Established in Osaka, Japan in 2010, Kagoshima Master is now having 9 Yakiniku restaurants in Japan. In 2019, we opened our first franchise in Crows Nest, Sydney and is now Sydney's one of the most famous Japanese BBQ restaurant. We are proud to give the very best of Japanese Yakiniku, customer service and Japanese experience to our guests. This year, We are expanding to Ultimo, Sydney, and is looking for YOU to join our fantastic team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work quickly and cleanly in a team and independently after initial training.
  • Washing up using a dishwashing machine and washing up larger items by hand
  • Be responsible for the cleaning and tidying of the equipment.
  • Assisting the chefs with basic tasks such as plating, making salad and side dishes, etc.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic to learn new tasks.
  • A basic understanding of health and safety protocols
  • Ability to multitask
  • Be punctual and reliable

Ideal Candidate(s)

1. Excellent communication skills

2. Highly responsible, with willingness to adapt to front-of-house work and assist with food prep when required

3. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not conditional as we will offer training for the right person.

4. Ability to work under pressure and in busy environments

5. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
