Job Opportunity: Cook / Kitchen Hand

The Underground Bar Pizza Kitchen is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. We offer a supportive and friendly work environment with consistent hours during semester periods.

Position Details:

  • Role: Cook
  • Hours: 30–35 hours per week (across operating hours: Tuesday–Saturday)
  • Location: City Building 1 – UTS
  • Start Date: Immediate

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar kitchen role
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Kitchen management skills (ability to manage prep, stock rotation, cleaning schedules, and service flow)
  • Responsibility for food safety standards (Food Safety Supervisor qualification required)

Additional Information:

  • Hours are based around semester periods; some downtime may occur during non-semester/holiday breaks.
