As a Senior Training Advisor for Operations Support, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs that equip our operations staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Your focus will be on fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the operations support team.

This role will have you frequently travelling around our beautiful state. Expect to travel intrastate on average 1 week per month. You are someone who can commit to the regular travels and will be highly motivated to work across our whole organisation.

You will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and can communicate to a blue-collar workforce.

You have the right attitude for being innovative, thinking outside the box, and ultimately finding a better solution to our current traditional training modules.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Leederville WA with a proposed start date of 20th October 2025.

A summary of the key responsibilities includes the following:

1. Training Program Development and Delivery

  • Design and implement training programs tailored to the specific needs of the operations support team.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.

2. Performance Evaluation

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of operations support staff to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members to help them achieve their professional development goals.

3. Content Creation and Updates

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials, manuals, and documentation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and impactful.

4. Mentorship and Support

  • Provide guidance and support to team members in resolving complex issues and challenges.

5. Collaboration and Communication

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure a clear understanding of training programs and objectives.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Implement and oversee a continuous improvement process to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Ideally, you will possess:

  • Cert IV Training and Assessment (or working towards)
  • Substantial experience in operations support, training, or a similar role
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Strong knowledge of operations processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using training software and tools.
