In this role, reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Duties

·       Group reporting, consolidation, and ensuring strong financial governance.

·       Manage general ledger reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet integrity.

·       Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements.

·       Managing financial reporting and controls including preparation, reconciliation, and presentation of monthly reports, (profit and loss, balance sheet, cashflow) ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls

·       Partner with corporate stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insights.

·       Prepare and interpret financial statements and management reports, providing insights to the Financial Controller.

·       Drive process and systems improvements to enhance reporting and efficiency.

·       Support year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.

·       Oversee statutory and tax compliance (BAS, workers' compensation) and coordinate with auditor on draft accounts.

About You:

·      You will possess CA or CPA qualifications

·       Be motivated to proactively implement best practice ways of working

·       Have strong technical accounting and financial reporting background

·       Possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability

·       Be an advanced MS Excel capability with knowledge of Velixo or similar an advantage

·       Have ERP system experience
