As a Disability Support Worker at Aussie Care Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and person-centred care to individuals with disabilities. This is a casual position based in Penrith, AND LIVERPOOL area allowing for flexibility in your work schedule.

What we are looking for?

AUSSIE CARE HEALTH SERVICES is looking for passionate, committed and fun loving Disability Support Worker to join our organisation. You will support our clients to increase their daily living skills, life skills and reach their individual goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hoisting experience required.
  • Meal Preparation and Domestic assistance.
  • Execution of the participant's support plan.
  • Social Support & transportation.
  • Adhering to company's policies & procedures.
  • Reporting & recording as per company's procedure at all times.

REQUIREMENTS ARE:

  • Hoisting skills is essential.
  • Understanding & commitment to the NDIS principles, duty of care, and rights to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Proficient, clear, and effective written and verbal English communication skills.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current Police Check & Working with Children Check.
  • Current Australian driver's license.
  • Own Vehicle & Comprehensive Insurance.
  • Current First Aid, CPR.
  • Certificate III/IV in individual support or equivalent.
  • Citizenship / Working Rights.
  • Availability for mornings shifts.
  • Outgoing personality AND Punctuality
