HIRING – Disability Support Workers for our Supported Independent Living Home in Penrith.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide daily living support, personal care & companionship
  • Assist individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities
  • Support participants with high and low care needs, including challenging behaviours
  • Deliver care with dignity and respect within SIL setting
  • Light household duties (meal prep, cleaning, etc.)
  • Encourage independence, community participation, and goal achievement
  • Work within clearly defined guidelines, collaborating with families and care teams

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong commitment to person-centred support
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • A genuine, compassionate, and professional attitude
  • Experience supporting individuals with disability or mental health needs (minimum 6 months)

Requirements

  • Right to work in Australia (Required)
  • Valid Driver's Licence & Reliable, Insured Vehicle
  • Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
  • National Police Check
  • 6+ months experience supporting individuals with complex needs
