About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Retail Assistant for our brand-new pop-up store at Rhodes NSW. This is a casual role running from November through January, giving you the opportunity to be part of an exciting new store launch during the busy Christmas and New Year period.

If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and love delivering outstanding customer service, this role will suit you perfectly. For the right person, there may also be the opportunity to transition to one of our permanent store locations after the pop-up period.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and provide attentive service
  • Collaborate with your team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets
  • Process sales efficiently using our POS system
  • Assist in stock management, including receiving and unpacking deliveries (some heavy lifting required)
  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards and store presentation

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of one year of retail sales experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build professional relationships and be a supportive team player
  • Strong communication skills and professional approach
  • Experience using POS systems
  • High standard of personal presentation and grooming
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and late-night shifts
  • Genuine passion for homewares and retail

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.19 per hour

Experience:

  • Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
