Specialist leading manufacturer of packaging films for the food industry is offering an excellent opportunity to join our rapidly growing team. Located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne (Campbellfield) with easy access from Hume Freeway. We currently have a Forklift Driver and Roll Preparation position available. Please note this is a day shift position with 8am to 4.30pm shift Monday to Friday;

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Forklift driving
  • Arranging warehouse stock
  • Wrapping pallets using wrapping machine
  • Strapping pallets using strapping machine
  • Labeling stock for storage
  • Loading rolls of plastic onto lifting equipment
  • Preparing rolls of plastic for production
  • Loading/unloading trucks
  • Cleaning warehouse and dispatch area
  • Assisting in some ad-hoc tasks as they arise

To be successful, you will have:

  • Forklift license and experience is essential. Must hold current forklift license. Successful candidate will be required to demonstrate forklift experience before the start
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse/stores environment
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
  • This job will suit someone who enjoys working on their own and can work independently
  • Candidates must have a desire to learn and the ability to work safely in producing a quality product
