Shape the future of healthcare for over 300,000 people in regional Queensland. As our next Executive Director Commercial Management and Infrastructure, lead transformative capital projects—including the new Toowoomba Hospital—and oversee infrastructure and asset systems across 30+ facilities. From strategy to delivery, you'll guide once-in-a-generation investments that redefine care across the Darling Downs. Be the driving force behind vital upgrades, sustainable asset management, and high-impact decisions that strengthen services and improve health outcomes for regional communities. This is your opportunity to leave a legacy.

The Role + You

As Executive Director Commercial Management and Infrastructure, you'll lead the strategy, development and delivery of critical capital projects, procurement and asset management services across our region. From the new Toowoomba Hospital to digital health initiatives and capital works, your leadership will shape systems that support great care.

You'll thrive in this role if you're a strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complexity, bring people together, and deliver results. You understand the power of good governance, strong partnerships and smart investment in enabling high-quality healthcare. You're someone who balances commercial acumen with a genuine commitment to public health and regional communities—and you're excited by the breadth and scale this role offers all whilst being a part of the Executive team.

To be successful in this role, you'll need

  • Extensive executive experience in infrastructure, capital projects, commercial or asset management
  • Proven leadership in large, complex or government environments
  • A strong track record in capital works, procurement or contract management
  • Relevant qualifications in health management, business, or a related field

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in leading infrastructure programs in healthcare or regional contexts and/or postgraduate study in health, commercial or project leadership.
