The Opportunity
As the Infrastructure Services Officer, you will provide high-level administrative and business support to the Infrastructure Operations team, including Works Services and Fleet and Workshop. You'll ensure services align with legislative, policy, and quality frameworks, maintain accurate data and reporting systems, support financial and procurement processes, and contribute to project and contract management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and administrative support across Infrastructure Operations
- Maintain and report on data systems including TechOne, ArcMap GIS, Reflect, RADAR, Guardian, and TeleTrac NavMan
- Coordinate customer service functions and CRM systems
- Support RMPC claims and audit procedures (ISO 9001)
- Assist with disaster management communications and recovery
- Draft social media and website content for departmental use
- Collaborate with Information Services to enhance system support
- Contribute to project and contract management for capital and funded projects

- Knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of operations of Council functions, policies and procedures;
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and the ability to respond to complex customer service enquiries in a timely manner;
- Proven experience in data preparation, including the ability to provide accurate reporting;
- Proven ability to plan, manage multiple demands and prioritisation within required timeframes along with the ability to self-motivate and work under limited supervision; and
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Business and/or experience in administration preferably in local government highly regarded.
- Certificate IV in Local Government Administration or equivalent experience highly regarded.
- The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's license may be required.
General Salary Information
Level 4 $85,954 per annum plus superannuation and locality allowance (effective 8 October 2025 as per Certified Agreement increase).
