About the Opportunity

We are exclusively partnering with a thriving consultancy that are expanding their commercial and procurement capability. They are seeking experienced professionals across Senior Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager and Directorlevels to deliver high-profile ICT procurement and commercial advisory projects within the Federal Government sector and in particular Defence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support complex ICT procurement activities, from strategy and market engagement through to contract negotiation and vendor management.
  • Provide expert commercial, contractual, and procurement advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop procurement strategies, tender documentation, evaluation plans, and contract management frameworks.
  • Manage risk, probity, and compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and related frameworks.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with both Government and industry stakeholders.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in ICT procurement, contract negotiation, or commercial advisory in a Federal Government or large-scale environment.
  • Strong understanding of CPRs, probity requirements, and commercial frameworks.
  • Ability to engage, influence, and advise senior stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering value-for-money outcomes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, business, procurement, or related discipline (highly regarded).
  • NV1 or higher clearance (or the ability to obtain).
