We're Recruiting Allied Health to the team.

Wavelengths is a Multi-disciplinary Allied Health Practice based at the gorgeous Bay Side coastal village of Salamander Bay on the Southern shores of Port Stephens.

We have recently changed ownership and looking to establish an expanded team of professionals to work with us in the Port Stephens area in our well-appointed office space. We are ideally located in the central shopping stretch with cafes, eateries and services literally across the road.

We are currently recruiting to the following positions:

  • Psychologists – Senior (Clinical) and Junior roles
  • Speech Pathologist
  • Physiotherapist
  • Exercise physiologist
  • Medical Practitioner
  • Specialist Therapists / Accredited Counsellors

About the roles:

  • Contractor or Casual – minimum 2 days/week (flexible structure) with stable, secure employment options
  • Opportunity to rent room space with administrative support or as an independent contractor.
  • Therapy-focused caseload – no unrealistic KPIs.
  • Low-pressure, collaborative team culture
  • Full administrative support
  • Regular peer supervision & supportive environment which supports on-going personal and professional development opportunities.
  • Scope to grow services in your own areas of interest

Required Criteria

  • Relevant professional registration (AHPRA or equivalent)
  • Appropriate indemnity insurance and liability cover
  • Eligibility for Medicare provider number (where applicable)
  • Experience providing individual therapy to children, adolescents and/or adults
  • Current WWCC and Criminal record clearance + basic first aid/ CPR.
  • NDIS Screening check
  • Availability for some afternoon and weekend appointments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to client-focused, ethical care
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
