Opportunity for a Psychologist to join our busy medical centre in Charlestown

Due to a high number of mental health consults and GP referrals, we have an opportunity for the right person to walk into a great referral base in our Charlestown Centre.

About Us:

Our medical centres in Sydney are reputable, patient-focused practices offering a wide range of healthcare services, including general medicine, allied health, and mental health support. We are dedicated to delivering holistic care through a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Role Overview:

As a psychologist at our medical centre, you will provide high-quality psychological assessment, treatment, and support to patients dealing with a variety of mental health conditions. Working closely with other medical professionals, you will contribute to the holistic care of our patients, helping them improve their emotional wellbeing, manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other psychological challenges.

About You:

  • You are a registered Psychologist with AHPRA (not accepting provisional registration applications) and hold relevant qualifications in psychology.
  • You have experience in providing individual therapy, with expertise in treating a wide range of psychological conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders.
  • Able to work autonomously and with no supervision.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
  • Experience in a medical or multidisciplinary setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A willingness to provide private, bulkbilling and workers comp services is essential
