We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker / Security Officer Background to provide personalised care and assistance an ongoing shift.

The role involves personal care, school routine support, and community access activities. A company car is available for community outings and transport when required.

This position focuses on creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment, promoting independence and confidence in daily life. Due to the client's personal care and cultural preferences, Pacific Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, hygiene, and manual handling support
  • Assist with school routines and daily transitions
  • Support community access and recreational activities (company car provided)
  • Deliver behavioural and emotional assistance
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication
  • Foster a caring, safe, and culturally respectful environment

Essential Requirements

  • First Aid Certification
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Check
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Full Australian work rights

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Security office background
  • Experience supporting children or young people with disabilities
  • Knowledge of NDIS standards and person-centred support
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility for morning shifts (potential for full 8-hour shifts)
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy at all times

Job Details

  • Pay Rate: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Schedule: Morning shifts (potential to extend to 8-hour shifts)
  • Days: Monday to Sunday
  • Location: Eastgarden, NSW
  • Work Setting: In-person
  • Transport: Company car available for community access
