Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, including payroll processing, end-of-month reporting, budgeting, and financial compliance and financial year end audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support internal financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management.
  • Support process improvements and system automation where possible
  • Work collaboratively with our team to resolve any discrepancies.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualification preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, experience within the NDIS sector an added advantage
  • Strong working knowledge of SCHADS Award, payroll systems, and accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar).
  • Proven experience with end-of-month reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
