We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of our brand-new centre – Chipmunks by the Park –estimated to open in January 2026 As a family-owned business, we are passionate about providing high-quality early education and care. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Director to lead our team of amazing educators and bring our vision to life.

About Us

Chipmunks Childcare is more than a workplace – we are a family. As approved providers/owners, we are actively involved and committed to supporting our centres. You will also be backed by our in-house Operations and Compliance Manager, ensuring you have the support and resources needed to thrive in your leadership role.

The Role

As Centre Director, you will:

  • Lead, inspire and mentor a passionate team of educators.
  • Build strong partnerships with families and the local community.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, Regulations and Standards.
  • Drive high-quality educational programs that foster each child's growth and development.
  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, enrolments, and financial performance.

About You

We are looking for a leader who is warm, approachable, and committed to excellence in early childhood education.

Essential criteria:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
  • Willingness to study towards a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) OR already Bachelor-qualified.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in centre management or senior educator roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A passion for supporting educators, families, and children to achieve their best.
