Weipa operations in far north Queensland includes three bauxite mines, processing facilities, shiploaders, an export wharf, two ports, power stations, a rail network and ferry terminals.

Weipa is located 900km north-west of Cairns on the Gulf of Carpentaria and has been operating for over 50 years. What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking an experienced multi skilled operators with at least 3 of the below skills.

  • Compactor Operator – (GPS Knowledge) (825 Experience preferred)
  • Scraper Operators – (623 Elevator)
  • Service Cart
  • Excavator Operator – (Final Trim GPS) (30t Diggers)
  • Roller/Water Moxy – (Experienced)
  • Dozer

You will play a pivotal role in our mining operations, facilitating the safe and efficient transportation of materials. These roles will be offering flights from Brisbane and Cairns, you will have flights paid for and have travel time paid each way. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting haul road construction and maintenance
  • Performing general site duties as required
  • Ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment

What you will need

  • Minimum of 2 year experience as an operator
  • Current and valid Queensland Coal Board medical or be willing to complete
  • RII for all machinery you operate - specifically seeking multi skilled with Moxy experience
  • G1, Rio Induction or willing to obtain
