Job Description

About the role

Be part of Australia's most trusted mental health organisation, driving digital transformation that empowers communities

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Agile Scrum professional to help shape Agile practices across Beyond Blue, supporting the rollout of Jira and Confluence and fostering collaboration across teams.

This is your opportunity to contribute to meaningful change—helping more people understand mental health, access support earlier, and feel connected.

If you're ready to lead with integrity and influence positive social impact, we'd love to hear from you

As a Senior Agile Scrum Lead, you will:

  • Manage delivery of data and analytics initiatives across a broad set of business processes, technologies and stakeholders
  • Foster enterprise partnerships to support data-informed reporting through collaboration with business owners and subject matter experts to ensure alignment
  • Lead solution design teams and manage project planning, scheduling, and tasks from ideation through to delivery
  • Handle risk and issues, stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, and vendors
  • Prepare procurement and project documentation (e.g. SOWs, RFPs, schedules)
  • Monitor project progress, post-implementation reviews and future planning.
  • Manage dependencies to support seamless delivery of strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement to align change initiatives with business plan.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex tech and data initiatives, with expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated success managing business initiatives using Agile, Lean, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
  • Experience coordinating contracts, projects, and partnerships with external vendors.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in Agile upliftment and Jira implementation, including project setup and configuration.
  • Flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach to problem-solving and team facilitation.
  • Skilled in Kanban and Scrum setup, with the ability to coach and upskill teams in Agile practices.
  • Certified in Jira project management and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, Agile Coach).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including report writing for senior audiences.

Benefits of Working with Us

In return, at Beyond Blue, we offer a:

  • A well-connected location that supports your active lifestyle: Based centrally in Naarm (Melbourne CBD), with modern office facilities and end-of-trip amenities so you can walk, jog, or ride to work with ease.
• Flexibility to suit your life: Remote and hybrid work arrangements, part-time and job-sharing options, plus purchased leave opportunities.
  • Various benefits and leave entitlements: $15,900 salary sacrifice packaging, meal and entertainment benefits, and various leave options—including parental leave, family and domestic violence leave, gender affirmation leave, and community service leave.
  • Inclusive and values-driven policies: Cultural, ceremonial, and discretionary leave, ensuring our team members can honour the days that matter most to them.
  • Commitment to professional growth: Secondments and blended learning opportunities to support career development and continuous learning.
