About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Head of Professional Services to lead our services organization, ensuring successful delivery of projects, customer satisfaction, and business growth. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and customer engagement. The Head of Professional Services will oversee consulting, implementation, and support teams while driving innovation and efficiency in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Professional Services function, including consulting, implementation, project management, and customer support.

  • Define and execute professional services strategy aligned with company objectives.

  • Ensure successful delivery of client projects with high quality, on time, and within budget.

  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term relationships through exceptional service delivery.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable delivery methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Product teams to support solution design, proposals, and customer engagements.

  • Develop and manage services P&L, including forecasting, revenue targets, and profitability.

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing professional services team.

  • Foster continuous improvement in delivery processes, methodologies, and tools.

  • Establish governance frameworks for project execution, risk management, and compliance.

  • Represent Professional Services at executive and client leadership levels.

  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance service offerings.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong background in IT services, consulting, or technology solution delivery.

  • Proven track record in leading large-scale professional services teams.

  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

  • Excellent financial acumen with experience managing P&L.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.

  • Strong stakeholder management and executive-level client engagement skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).

  • 15+ years of experience in IT services/professional services, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum Master are a plus.

Performance Metrics:

  • Project delivery success (on-time, on-budget, within scope).

  • Customer satisfaction (NPS, CSAT scores).

  • Services revenue growth and profitability.

  • Utilization and productivity of services teams.

  • Employee retention, engagement, and skill development.

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, and Support teams.
