The Opportunity

The Plant Operator - Loader/ Crusher is responsible for operating the mobile crusher and loader effectively and efficiently to increase daily production activities at Council's regional burrow pits.

Your skills and experience in demonstrating your proficiency with an emphasis in operating crushing equipment whilst also being skilled in the operation and maintenance of various supporting plant and other earthmoving equipment as required.

About Yourself

A person in this position will need to have a thorough understanding of quarrying processes, practices and procedures and proven quarrying/ mining experience, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience. It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have;

(1) Open Queensland 'C' Class Drivers Licence.

(2) MR (Medium Rigid) Queensland Drivers Licence or willingness to obtain on commencement.

(3) Certificate of Competency in the various types of Quarrying equipment or ability to obtain

(4) Certificate III in Extractive Operations or ability to obtain

(5) Work Health and Safety General Construction Induction, White Card (essential)

Salary Packaging Available

Leave Loading

You will receive 17.5% leave loading on top of your base rate of pay, while you are on Annual Leave.
