About the role
- Develop key working relationships with A&R Hub Team management to ensure effective operations of hub.
- Coordinate onshore management in regard to operations and plans on A&R hub matters, including the Product Owners and SMEs in relation to their Hub executed Processes.
- Develop, embed, enhance a robust control and governance framework which effectively monitors KPIs and SLAs to ensure the operational effectiveness and identify areas of improvement in relation to the end-to-end A&R Hub processes and team assignment.
- Ownership, design and execution of the end-to-end governance process for new, updated and changes processes across the hub.
- Champions, monitor and ensure effective use of tools such as JMP in the delivery of Hub services including issues management.
- Aid in the resolution of operational issues and ensure seamless service delivery and in effective onboarding and assignment of hub team members to processes including correct access.
- Monitor and ensure effective maintenance of A&R Hub service catalogue for assigned A&R Hub team.
- Coordinate forward looking requests on hub and managing the movement of processes through the creation to execution cycle gaining relevant sign off from owners throughout process.
- Ensure key artefacts meet required standards and are kept up to date in collaboration with Hub (e.g. Service Catalogue and Standard Operating Procedures). Executing quality reviews and SOP update schedules.
- Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst Accounting Hub and the Hub & Onshore for the continuous improvement initiatives and changes to the Hub-executed processes. Also, work closely with Risk team in completion of necessary reviews and audits.
- Ensure processes are maintained and any impacts from projects and reg changes are effectively managed in accordance with wider business strategies and the Hubs governance model.
About you
- Leadership experience directly or indirectly within a finance team, with the ability to influence teams without formal authority.
- Experience in optimisation of work processes and, or project management experience.
- Extensive experience in building strong working relationships with offshore team and designing, embedding effective governance and control frameworks
- Comprehensive understanding of organisational financial frameworks, end-to-end finance data flows and experience in managing financial management processes, resources, and systems, providing advice to improve.
- Ability to identify, analyse and assess risks inherent to the business and put in place appropriate controls, actions to manage financial reporting risk and support compliance.
- Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and impactful presentations using presentation and visualisation tools.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands to deliver objectives.
- Proven capability to manage change through the initiation and promotion of organisational transformation, leveraging effective process, collaboration, and communication to foster commitment and participation.
- Highly developed consulting skills and influencing skills, demonstrating the ability to contribute to Strategy creation.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions with highly developed 'first principles' problem-solving skills, combined with a curious and creative mind-set.
- Demonstrate an Agile mindset and knowledge of Agile methodologies and concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate and influence key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Ability to travel and spend time in India
