About the role

We have 1 Sanitation Cleaner positions available at Edinburgh Park for a 7-day rotational roster between:

  • Monday to Friday 11:00pm - 5:00am
  • Saturdays 3:00pm - 9:00pm or 5:00pm - 10:00pm (depending on department assigned)

The main purpose of the positions is to conduct the cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, machinery, and work areas in a FMCG facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate the system to clean and sanitise production equipment, tanks and pipelines.
  • Disassemble, clean, sanitise and reassemble all equipment as needed.
  • Carry out all sanitation practices according to company policies and applicable health regulations and laws.
  • Adhere to Lustra's and our client's Food Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.
  • Manual Handling of Dangerous Goods
  • Reporting of Non-Conformance and Work Health Safety incidents

Requirements

  • Available to work night shift Monday to Friday and afternoon shift on weekends with minimal overtime on the spot if required.
  • Available to work weekends or a rotational roster over 7 days.
  • Previous cleaning experience within the food environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Must be physically fit.
  • No VISA working restrictions.
  • Comfortable with handling raw poultry
  • Chemical Awareness or the willingness to learn.
  • Willing to work with hazardous chemicals; PPE and training provided.
  • Be prepared to undergo medical screening.
  • Successful candidates must agree to a Police Clearance Check prior to commencement of role.
