Swan Transit has an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced HD Mechanic to join our Workshop in Southwest, Bunbury/ Busselton as a Workshop Supervisor on Full-time basis.

Reporting to the Area Manager/Workshop Manager, overseeing all maintenance and engineering tasks to ensure safety, quality, and cost efficiency. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship on a fleet of buses & coaches – a great opportunity to advance your career.

Role & Responsibility:

• Control and co-ordination of daily workflow.
• Ensures safety standards and company policies are adhered to.
• Maintains appropriate records and documentation.
• Provides staff management for engineering section.
• Orders stock and maintains stock levels at a cost-effective level.
• Any other duties as required

About You:

• Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years' post trade experience in leadership role desirable.

• Experience on Bus & Coach chassis preferred.

• Knowledge of Occupational, Health and Welfare Act and application to the workplace.
• Possession of current HR or higher -class vehicle licence.
• Possession of or should be willing to obtain PTD.
• Record keeping and office administration skills, inclduing knowledge of the following computer software packages: Microsoft Work, Excel and Access.
