Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Transport Operations Administrator is responsible for the administrative tasks relating to customer transactions received to the Business pertaining to transport services.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTPUTS.

  • Provide Administrative support with internal system processes, data entry and execution.
  • Assist in the process for client portals for upload of invoices with supporting documentation and monitor for queries/rejection of invoices.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to all clients directly and indirectly associated with transport operations.
  • Monitor systems entries for accuracy in information.
  • Manage on-boarding of new clientele and ensuring all information is entered accurately in TMS and accounting software (Xero).
  • Maintain internal systems for current clientele – follow up for any missing or incomplete information.
  • Monitor Internal systems for completed shipments that are ready to invoice to clients.
  • Sound analytical skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Creative and innovative in approach to delivering services that meet or exceed our clients' requirements.
  • Have a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role with proven records and references.
  • High level for attention to detail with the ability to work in a team environment to rectify internal and external issues.
  • Sound understanding in MS Office including Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong customer service orientation – excellent understanding and strong curiosity about our customers and their business and what adds value to our partnerships.
