We are building a Data Factory – a modern, scalable data platform designed to harness, enrich, and distribute data that powers the global real estate economy.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Go-To-Market (GTM) Leader for APAC to shape and execute the commercial strategy for MRI's data business in the region. This role includes a hybrid function as Data Partner Manager, responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships and managing data supply relationships to support the launch and growth of new data products.
 

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and entrepreneurial leader with deep expertise in data commercialisation, partnerships, and APAC real estate market dynamics. They will bridge data, product, and sales functions to ensure MRI's Data Factory becomes a foundational asset across APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

Principal Accountability

The chief accountability for this position is revenue realisation and will be measured by pipeline, bookings and revenue from MRI Data Products in the APAC region.

In order to achieve this, the role includes responsibility for:

Strategy & Positioning

  • Define and own the GTM strategy for MRI's Data Factory in APAC, including product positioning, pricing, packaging, and messaging.
  • Translate data capabilities into compelling client value propositions tailored to APAC real estate stakeholders.

Commercial Leadership & Execution

  • Drive adoption of data products through direct sales, channel partners, and strategic alliances.
  • Influence product roadmap priorities based on APAC market needs.
  • Develop high-value partnerships with industry associations, marketplaces, and technology platforms.
  • Build and maintain a prospect base; develop pipeline; create client proposals; close deals; execute partner contracts and maintain account management functions for MRI Data Partners in region.

Data Partner Management

  • Identify, onboard, and manage regional data partners to support product launches and enrich data offerings.
  • Negotiate data licensing agreements and ensure compliance with permitted use cases.
  • Collaborate with legal and product teams to align partner data supply with commercial goals.

Market Development

  • Act as the voice of the APAC customer, ensuring MRI's data strategy aligns with regional challenges and opportunities.
  • Represent MRI at key APAC industry events, forums, and media engagements.
  • Build repeatable GTM playbooks tailored to APAC markets.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, customer success, and product teams to enable field execution and client adoption.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Mentor and grow a regional team of GTM and commercial professionals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in GTM strategy, commercialisation, or business development, ideally within data, analytics, or SaaS.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling data products or platforms in APAC.
  • Strong understanding of real estate industry dynamics in APAC, including investment, asset management, leasing, and proptech.
  • Deep expertise in data commercialisation models (subscriptions, licensing, APIs, marketplaces).
  • Exceptional skills in strategic partnerships, negotiation, and executive engagement.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Salesforce experience, a strong advantage
