About the role

Welcome to the world of VR and fun This is a full-time Manager position at Zero Latency Gold Coast, located in Southport, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staff of our cutting-edge virtual reality entertainment centre, ensuring exceptional customer service and a smooth running of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and directing the work of staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Scheduling and managing staff rosters to ensure appropriate coverage at all times
  • Monitoring staff performance and providing coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Handling customer queries, complaints, and resolving any issues that arise
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and security policies and procedures
  • Monitoring stock levels and equipment maintenance, and placing orders as needed
  • Working the main attractions including checkin desk, Axe throwing and bar where required
  • Pouring basic drinks, selection of cocktails and checking in guests when required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leading role, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide exceptional experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Familiarity with inventory management and basic financial reporting
  • Passion for virtual reality technology and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
