What's the role?

As Finance Manager, Retail Banking, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial performance of Retail Banking's (RB) Physical Distribution and Operations businesses. You'll support the Finance Director with business partnering activities, collaborate across Finance teams to support decision-making and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting. You will work collaboratively with other Finance teams across Retail Banking, Consumer Division and ESP on core finance activities including reporting, forecasting, analytics, and expense management. The role will offer: (a) exposure to our branch network, physical property footprint and the operations that support servcing our customers; and (b) opportunities to support strategic, future focussed business initiatives (e.g. transformation of the branch network).

What do I need?

  • Solid retail banking or financial services experience, chartered or CPA qualified, with a solid financial background
  • Solid modelling abilities and proven experience in running finance processes in a controlled and efficient manner
  • Solid stakeholder engagement, management and partnering experience
  • Proficient in analysing and interpreting data to generate actionable insights and support decision-making
  • Experience with balance sheet and revenue would be well regarded
  • Superior conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills helping to "connect the dots" over and above the raw data or financials
