Food and Beverage Team Leaders

The Royal on the Park Hotel is an iconic hotel in the Brisbane CBD. The old-world charm of our Walnut Restaurant mixed with our amazing Banquet and Events; staff WOW our guests every time they visit. Our amazing venue with views overlooking the Botanical Gardens is looking for two Food and Beverage Team Leaders to join our wonderful team.

About the role

  • Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all Restaurant and function guests, both internal and external
  • Identify and ensure guest needs, wants and expectations are met across both the food and beverage spaces
  • Communicate effectively with all departments including Kitchen and Front Office to ensure a positive guest experience
  • Assist across all services when required, including Bar, in-room dining, and restaurant
  • Lead, train and motivate staff to provide exceptional Customer service.
  • Manage inventory and stock control
  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback and enjoy resolving any challenges

About you

  • 1-2 years' experience in a Team Leader capacity leading shifts in Restaurant and Conferencing – all training given.
  • Have had exposure to medium to large conferencing events.
  • A strong commitment to customer service, leadership and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is a must.
