About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing and/or midwifery services across a variety of health service settings. At this level, you will have developed from a competent to a proficient practitioner, supported by both experience and/or further study. You will play a key role in delivering safe, evidence-based care while actively contributing to the overall functioning of the team and supporting positive patient outcomes.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will accept accountability for your own professional practice, delegate appropriately, and support the development of less experienced staff. You may also be assigned a specific portfolio aligned with your interests and career development goals, as identified in your performance review. This is a rewarding opportunity to further your leadership skills while remaining hands-on in a patient-centred care environment.
About You
You are an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse passionate about delivering high-quality care and leading clinical teams. With strong problem-solving and communication abilities, you thrive in a multidisciplinary environment and are committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Registered Nurse with current NMBA registration and at least 3 years post-registration experience
- Proven competence in acute/subacute care and diabetes patient education
- Experienced in leading and mentoring nursing staff and students
- Well-versed in healthcare legislation, quality improvement, and contemporary nursing practices
