VE Group AU are a Civil Contracting, Plant Hire and Transport Logistics Company looking for a Tyre Fitter to join our North Tivoli Maintenance Team. VE Group currently provides services across several industry sectors including urban development, transport infrastructure and resources.

This role would suit someone who first and foremost aligns to our values and has a solid background in tyre maintenance across heavy vehicles, trailers and plant equipment, with a hands-on approach to workshop operations.  Your experience should demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail and the ability to adapt to dynamic work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove, inspect, repair, and fit tyres for trucks, trailers, plant, and light vehicles
  • Conduct pressure checks and rotate tyres as needed
  • Monitor tyre inventory and report on wear patterns or issues
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety
  • Perform basic mechanical and maintenance tasks as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous tyre fitting experience in heavy vehicle or civil environments
  • Current driver's licence (HC or higher desirable)
  • Strong safety focus and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and reliable
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays as part of a rotating roster.
  • Current Australian work rights required
