ICT Support Technician

Steel Trusses Tech Australia is a proudly Australian-owned company based in Canberra, providing builders with efficient and sustainable solutions for their projects. We are currently seeking a skilled ICT Support Technician to join our team and provide vital technical support across our systems and operations.

Success in this role will enable you to be responsible with the following duties:

• Determine and maintain software, hardware, and network requirements to support design, detailing, engineering, and automated manufacturing systems.
• Provide day-to-day ICT support to staff across offices and factory sites, resolving technical issues with hardware, software, and networks.
• Configure, adapt, and update applications to meet operational needs, including engineering and production systems.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot business-critical software, CAD/design tools, and automated machinery interfaces.
• Implement and maintain secure computer networks, data storage, and backup systems.
• Monitor and optimise system performance to ensure efficient use of applications, networks, and equipment.
• Repair, replace, and support equipment including printers, modems, terminals, and factory IT devices.
• Update and maintain the company's website to ensure accurate and accessible product and service information.

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

• Proven experience in ICT support or a similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of software, hardware, and systems.
• Ability to design and maintain websites.
• Familiarity with computer networks and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What we offer:

• Annual Salary $75,000 to $85,000 for 38 hours per week plus superannuation
• Job Type: Full-time
