We are a well-established firm based in the western suburbs of Melbourne practicing in the areas of Wills & Estates, Commercial Law, Litigation, Property & Conveyancing.

This firm's team of lawyers and support staff are highly knowledgeable and experience in their respective areas and the legal industry.

We are looking for a suitably experienced Wills & Estates Lawyer to join our team. Generous renumerations and perks.

Qualifications and experience


• 5+ years PQE (can perform solicitor work unsupervised)


• Experience autonomously running your own files.


• Ability to maintain and build client relationships.


• Strong legal document drafting capabilities including Court documents, correspondence, letters of advice and others.


• Experience in negotiating matters to settlement and at mediation.


• Appearance in court for directions hearings and working collaboratively with Counsel when required.

Tasks and responsibilities:


• Running your own files autonomously and independently.


• Strongly negotiating and advocating for clients in probate and estate matters.


• Provide tailored advice to clients to ensure outcome focused direction for the life of a file.


• Regular and effective communication with clients to ensure that they are appraised of the stage of their file.


• Undertaking research.


• Liaising with and instructing Counsel.


• Advocacy work at mediations.


• Appearances in the Courts.

• Enthusiasm and a positive, collaborative, and proactive approach.


• Experience with LEAP.
