Page Seager is a commercial law firm with the largest group of legal professionals in Tasmania. With recent growth in the business and the constantly evolving cyber security landscape we are looking for an experienced IT support person to assist our ICT Manager in providing technology and communications support to the business. This will be a permanent full-time position commencing as soon as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for an information technology professional to broaden their expertise in a professional services business that has achieved the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Essential 8, maturity level two.

The role is very broad, from user support to system administration, and therefore you will not be pigeonholed into one area of expertise, with on-the-job support provided at every stage. We offer genuinely flexible and alternative work arrangements, coupled with a great and supportive workplace culture.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and provide effective support to users at all levels;

  • have qualifications in information technology or a related field of study or have significant industry experience;

  • have well-rounded in-depth information technology skills with attention to detail;

  • have an awareness of best practice in IT cyber security and systems, such as ACSC Essential 8, and experience with technology products for Application Control and Vulnerability Management;

  • have experience with Windows Operating Systems including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 Administration, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, SharePoint and Defender; and

  • have experience with firewalls, routers, switches, network segmentation, VLANs, other networking devices, and virtualisation software.
