Reporting to the Records Supervisor, you'll capture, classify, register and retrieve information across Council's eDRMS, support users via the helpdesk, and maintain data integrity and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Open, sort, scan and quality-check incoming mail, emails and internal correspondence
- Register, classify and distribute information in Technology One ECM
- Retrieve records promptly and accurately; maintain data integrity and confidentiality
- Support end users (helpdesk), promote best practice and assist with process improvements
- Contribute to procedures, forms and continuous improvement across the Records team
- Proficient with an eDRMS (Technology One ECM highly regarded) and accurate data entry
- Detail-oriented with strong reading/comprehension skills to apply correct keywords and summaries
- Customer-focused, discreet and professional with confidential information
- Team player who's comfortable working within established routines and timeframes
- Understanding of records/information management processes and office procedures
- Essential: Year 12 completion; Driver's Licence - "C" class
- Desirable: Recordkeeping qualification and/or operational eDRMS experience; local government experience
