Help turn funding into real outcomes for our community. As our
Finance Officer (Grants),
you'll own Council's grants processes, making sure every dollar is tracked, compliant and put to its best use across projects that matter to Noosa.

What you'll do

• Monitor grant programs for compliance, delivering timely progress reports, variations and acquittals
• Keep the grants register accurate and up to date, status, milestones and claims
• Provide clear advice on budgeting, ledger coding, statutory reporting and monthly updates
• Guide officers through applications, claims and acquittals; liaise with State/Federal agencies
• Register and manage all grant documentation in Council's records system and keep intranet resources current

About you

• Tertiary qual in finance, business or commerce (or equivalent experience)
• Solid grasp of accounting, financial reporting and budgeting
• Confident interpreting legislative/contractual docs and applying them in practice
• Analytical, proactive and organised, you set priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communicator who builds trusted relationships across all levels
• Skilled with integrated financial systems, databases, spreadsheets and Microsoft 365
• Current C Class Driver's Licence and alignment with our SPARC values
