About the role

Join the dynamic IT team at Screwloose as an IT Support Technician. This full-time position is based in our modern office in Osborne Park, WA and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our client-facing technology services.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide efficient and friendly technical support to our clients, addressing hardware, software and connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of IT problems in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update computer systems, networks and other IT infrastructure
  • Coordinate with external vendors and IT partners as needed
  • Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of IT systems
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT environment and processes

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, preferably within an MSP Environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with users at all levels
  • Working knowledge of hardware, software, networking and Windows desktop support
  • Familiarity with IT service management best practices
  • Enthusiasm for keeping up with the latest technology trends and innovations
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • A strong understanding of Networking, Intune, DNS, Group Policy, Office 365, Azure AD and Sharepoint is an absolute must for this role and a strong working knowledge of Threatlocker and Essential 8 Implementations would be highly regarded.
