We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter & Phone Service / Spare Parts Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, is organised, and has strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Job Management

  • Provide friendly and professional counter and phone service.
  • Take job requests, gather required details, and book jobs accurately into the system.

  • Assist customers with general enquiries and direct them to the appropriate department when required.

    Spare Parts Support

  • Look up and identify spare parts for a range of equipment and applications.

  • Prepare accurate quotes for Trade, Internal Jobs, and customer counter/phone enquiries.
  • Order spare parts from suppliers in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure internal teams are informed of part availability.

    Daily Operations
    - Perform end-of-day till balancing and EFTPOS closure.
    - Maintain a clean, organised, and professional front counter area.

Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

About You

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

- Experience in spare parts, trade, or technical industries (advantageous but not essential).
- Basic computer skills and confidence using booking or inventory systems.
