Sense-IT is partnering with a leading enterprise to deliver a major SharePoint consolidation program migrating approximately 4,000 SharePoint sites down to 200 under a modern, sustainable governance framework.

We're seeking an experienced SharePoint Governance Consultant to review, design, and implement a governance model that aligns with existing business frameworks and supports multiple company divisions and operating structures.

What You'll Do

  • Review the current SharePoint landscape, including 4,000+ sites across multiple divisions.
  • Assess existing governance, permissions, and information management practices.
  • Design a fit-for-purpose governance and site management framework to support a consolidated model (200 sites).
  • Align recommendations with corporate policies, business frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and processes for ongoing SharePoint ownership and control.
  • Prepare documentation, standards, and recommendations to guide the migration and long-term management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, business units, and project teams to ensure alignment and adoption.

About You

You're a SharePoint or Microsoft 365 Consultant with strong experience in:

  • Governance design, site architecture, and information management in large or complex organisations.
  • Understanding how business frameworks, policies, and compliance intersect with technical governance.
  • Designing or advising on SharePoint consolidation or migration projects.
  • Communicating effectively across both technical and business audiences.
  • Delivering structured documentation, frameworks, and clear governance recommendations.

Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform experience will be highly regarded.
