Our client is a boutique client side project and construction management consultancy who provide independent and professional services for property and infrastructure projects. They are looking for an enthusiastic
Senior / Project Manager
to join their innovative and client focussed team to work on a large prestigious $75m+ roads infrastructure project.

As Senior / Project Manager, you will be responsible for the Delivery Management of the roads infrastructure package of works. Ideally candidates will have experience in delivering civil projects with roads experience and TfNSW experience as well.

Candidates must have both delivery management experience as well as commercial skill set, contract administration and superintendent experience. Candidates can come from a head contractor or client side background.

Offering end to end consulting, PM and advisory service to their clients, our client has a diverse project portfolio spanning both buildings and civil infrastructure sectors.

Will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract role with potential to extend. Start within a couple of weeks for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Client management and consultation
  • Coordinate and communicate with Stakeholders

  • Undertake contract administration tasks including assessment of progress claims, variation

  • claims, extension of time claims and delay claims.

  • Undertake regular project management and contract administration meetings as well as progressive inspections of the works at as necessary to monitor compliance.

  • Prepare and issue fortnightly project reports
  • Conduct contractor audits and inspections and monitor construction program
  • Monitoring and reviewing contractor documentation including but not limited to Site Safety Plan, Inspection and test plans, Construction checklists and forms
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Construction Management, Engineering or property related qualification
  • 5 to 10 plus years of end to end project management on infrastructure projects
  • Previous delivery management experience on large scale Civils projects
  • Experience with brownfield construction projects is required
  • Leadership skills
  • Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
