Candidates can come from Head Contractor or Client/Consultancy Side but ideally will have some client/consultancy side experience.

Our client is a leading boutique project management consultancy with an established pipeline across tertiary education project from smaller up to $60m+. They are now looking for an experienced
Project Manager
to join their successful team in Sydney.

The candidate can come from a head contractor, or a client side/consultancy background however ideally will have some client side/consultancy experience. Excellent progression opportunities available and interesting work load.

Ideally candidates will have experience on education projects however other sectors experience is also fine.

Years of experience:

3 - 7 years +

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Scope development
  • Managing regulatory approvals
  • Design co-ordination
  • Stakeholder management and liaison
  • Health and safety
  • Program management
  • Contract administration
  • Construction management of project delivery
  • Management of site variations and design changes
  • Cost management
  • Business Development

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in Building, Construction Management, Project Management or similar
  • A minimum of 3-7 + years' experience in a client-side PM role, head contractor experience would also be ideal
  • Proven end to end project management skills from concept through to completion
  • Contract Administration experience
  • Exposure to program management, managing timelines and critical paths
  • Experience of end-to-end project management on a variety of building projects would be an advantage
  • Experience of running multiple smaller projects or larger projects
