About the role

Simons Waterfront Warrnambool is seeking a passionate and customer-focused General Front Staff to join our team. This is a part-time position based in Warrnambool, VIC 3280, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Assisting customers with menu selections, answering questions, and making recommendations
  3. Taking food and beverage orders and ensuring accurate order processing
  4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including setting and clearing tables
  5. Restocking and replenishing supplies as needed
  6. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  3. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  4. A passion for food, beverage, and providing exceptional customer service
  5. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
