lyf Bondi Junction is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join as a Business Development Manager (Student Accommodation). This full time role will report to the Director of Sales.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans targeted at the student accommodation market to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Building, nurturing, and leveraging strong partnerships with education institutions, agents, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Managing accurate sales activities and account intelligence within CRM systems to support forecasting and reporting.
  • Representing Ascott at education expos, roadshows, and networking events to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
  • Collaborating with NSW Cluster Corporate Sales and property teams to align student-focused initiatives with broader business objectives.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally within hospitality, student accommodation, or education-related markets.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage confidently with education providers, agents, and corporate partners.
  • Solid commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse market trends, competitor activity, and demand drivers to adapt strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead property tours, client familiarisations, and negotiations.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach, with flexibility to work across properties, attend industry events, and manage peak demand periods.
