About the Role

We are seeking empathetic, mature-minded, and open-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference.

As a Support Worker at CWSS, you will assist clients of all ages with daily living activities, community participation, personal care, and skill development, while fostering independence and respect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living support as required
  • Assist with meal preparation, household tasks, and transport
  • Support clients to participate in community, social, and recreational activities
  • Follow individual care plans and NDIS standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the team

Essential Requirements

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Right to work in Australia
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccination status (as per current health guidelines)

Desirable

  • Experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or community services
  • Qualifications in Individual Support, Community Services, or related fields

Pay: From $31.74 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 38 per week

Experience:

  • disability support worker: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver Licence (Preferred)
  • NDIS Screening Check (Preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (Preferred)
  • Police check (valid within the last 3 months) (Preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Preferred)
