Employment Consultant.

3DMS
is a team comprised of Allied Health Professionals that appreciate the work each of us does in making a difference for our clients.

We are a South East Queensland based company also covering northern NSW specialising in Workplace Mediation, Vocational Rehabilitation, Physical Assessments, Training, Management Coaching and Team Interventions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Employment Consultant, you will work closely with clients referred by national insurers and government agencies. Your main focus will be to support individuals in returning to sustainable employment following injury or illness. You'll provide practical job-seeking support, coordinate work placements, and liaise with employers and training providers to ensure successful vocational outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional service to customers and clients from national insurers and state/local government agencies.
  • Determine suitable vocational options for clients returning to work after injuries.
  • Develop and update professional résumés and cover letters.
  • Conduct interview coaching sessions, including mock interviews.
  • Liaise with employers to secure host placements and employment opportunities.
  • Schedule and confirm worksite visits, and maintain strong employer relationships.
  • Build and maintain a large host employer database for future placements.
  • Maintain work trial diaries for clients and submit reports to DVA on a fortnightly basis.
  • Research and coordinate study options, including course enrolment and fees, for clients pursuing new career paths.
  • Liaise with providers to arrange qualifications, licenses, and tickets required for specific roles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Compassionate and client-focused, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced in employment services, rehabilitation, or vocational support (preferred but not essential).
  • Organised and proactive in managing multiple clients and employer relationships.
  • Skilled in coaching, job matching, and career planning.
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
