The Graphic Design & Function Coordinator will be responsible for the overall graphic design for the Inglewood Hotel, as well as assisting with marketing, coordination of functions and events, and providing general administrative support to the team. This is a multi-faceted role that would suit someone eager to learn multiple aspects of the business, and work in a small, close nit team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create promotional material for the venue (flyers, posters, menus, etc)
  • Assist in managing our social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement with the audience
  • Create and schedule EDM's to keep our database engaged

  • Be responsible for organising and overseeing functions, maintaining accurate booking systems, report and communication with the kitchen and operations teams

  • Support with planning, payments, and organization of events

  • Answer the phone and assist with restaurant reservations and other enquiries
  • Support our team with marketing / admin assets including updating daily specials, creating table numbers etc
  • Ensuring the consistency of all branding and communication

What you'll bring:

  • Excellent graphic design skills with qualifications, experience in functions and/or marketing
  • Strong attention to detail and visual consistency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great customer service skills and a proactive, can-do attitude, with willingness to learn
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms
  • Hospitality industry experience is preferred but not essential
  • Bonus points if you are skilled in photography
